Giant Anteaters at Reserve
Tupac was the first Giant Anteater to be released at Reserva Don Luis in autumn 2025. He is tracked using radio signals from his harness and appears to be finding plenty of ants to eat.
Pirpi was the second Giant Anteater to be released at Reserva Don Luis. He was kept in a holding corral for 10 days then released. The team from Rewilding Argentina monitor him using his radio collar and place feed stations nearby for him to supplement his diet.
